Q & A WITH DR. BENITA

What do you love most about dentistry?

I love the relationships that are created with patients. It’s so fun to come to work and see the patients who have become like family and catch up about everything and anything.

What is your favorite part about being a local business owner?

My favorite part is having the control to do what is right 100% of the time, with no constraints for both patients and staff.

What is your favorite holiday and why?

Christmas! The food, family time and brisk weather have all created great memories.

What kind of music can we hear in your car right now?

I’m really into covers of songs. There is something comforting about a twist to a familiar tune. I also always default to oldies if I can’t think of anything else to listen to. Growing up my dad always played a radio station called 99.7 KFRC so it reminds me of him.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love being outdoors! I try to get out to explore at every chance possible. Now that I have a son I’m trying to get him outside as much as I can. I also love to cook, run, read and sleep.
